Barterthing.com Profiled on Television

New York, NY, May 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- MBM Investment Group Corporation was interviewed by two local news organizations regarding their online personal bartering site www.barterthing.com. ABC6 News, and WJAR News of Rhode Island both ran separate profiles. The two news groups both focused on the current economic crisis and how bartering was a smart way to save money to get the goods and services people need, without paying for them.

The news profiles had an immediate impact on membership. MBM estimates that membership in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area doubled after the broadcasts had been completed. Bartering traffic increased five fold, which indicates that the new members were quite active in reaching out to others to barter. The news reports were done a few weeks back, however activity on the site has continued to remain brisk. MBM is thrilled at the increase in awareness of not just their Barterthing site, but also the renewed interest in bartering in general.
