RTI Data Distribution Service Adopted for Sports Betting Platform
San Jose, CA, May 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Xuenn Limited, a premier online gaming software solutions provider, today announced that the company has deployed Real-Time Innovations’ (RTI) high-performance messaging and data-caching middleware in its sports betting platform, AgileBet. Serving some of the largest betting companies in the industry, Xuenn has standardized on RTI Data Distribution Service to process betting transactions in conjunction with Complex Event Processing (CEP).

Xuenn is using RTI Data Distribution Service to integrate the web server that accepts bets and displays real-time odds, human odds setters, and automated odds-setting engines implemented using CEP. RTI Data Distribution Service provides real-time communication between these subsystems along with high availability through redundancy and automatic failover.
The Xuenn gaming platform is a widely distributed system connected via a Wide Area Network (WAN) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) in Asia, where bandwidth is still relatively expensive. RTI’s high performance and wire efficiency minimize bandwidth costs while allowing odds-setters to respond to market prices in less than 2 seconds, despite low-bandwidth WAN and VPN connections.
