Spanish Translations for World, Continent Maps Now Included with Maps101
Maps101, the online Social Studies resource, has added a selection of Spanish Language maps to its collection.
Santa Barbara, CA, May 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The collection includes frequently accessed World and Continent maps, with Spanish translations of all country names, oceans and capital cities. The Spanish Language maps were part of a continuous review, revision and expansion of the Map101 online Social Studies resource as well as specific content requests from major school districts across the country.
“Maps101 has an on-going content development commitment to its subscribing schools and our latest release, the series of Spanish language maps, is a great example of that commitment,” reveals John Serpa, CEO of Maps101.
“Being in touch with our subscribers’ needs and having the capability to respond quickly is one of several areas that make Maps101 a unique classroom resource.”
As with all Maps101 content the Spanish collection is optimized for printing, or projection using a whiteboard or projector. Teachers can use pre-arranged lesson plans and activities to engage students in the classroom, or take advantage of unlimited access from the home or library through assignments and projects.
Maps101 gives teachers a convenient collection of relevant learning materials in a single online resource. In addition to this Spanish Language collection, a broader picture of the growth and changing distribution of the Hispanic culture within the United States is painted through thematic maps and related news and events.
