18th Annual "Coley for the Kids" Golf Tournament Supports Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
The Coley for the Kids golf tournament will be held on June 7th and 8th at the BridgeMill Athletic Club in Canton, Georgia. Proceeds from this tournament will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Atlanta, GA, June 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Where can you win a new car, score $10,000 cash and come home with two AirTran tickets to anywhere that they fly? These prizes and many more are part of the 18th annual Coley for the Kids golf tournament in Canton, GA, on June 7th and 8th.
The Coley for the Kids golf tournament is an annual event benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit pediatric healthcare systems. The Coley has collected thousands of dollars over the past 18 years and hopes to increase fiscal support this year with the help of generous and loyal supporters.
“Every year is a new adventure with surprises around every corner. This year, someone can go home with $10,000 from Kodak while supporting a cause that helps countless families and children in need,” explains Tournament Director, Bob DaRin. “We help change lives and enjoy a fun-filled day in the sun the same time.”
Beginning on Sunday, June 7th, the event will highlight a gala party at the prestigious Ravinia Club, where players, sponsors and guests alike will enjoy upscale entertainment, an exclusive silent auction and a sumptuous buffet dinner. On Monday morning at 9 a.m., the scene will shift to BridgeMill Athletic Club for the Fort Lauderdale scramble-style tournament.
The registration fee of $125 per player grants access to BridgeMill’s championship 18-hole course. The phenomenally designed 72-par layout provides five sets of tees and a variety of landscapes to captivate and challenge any player. Golfers can even test their skills on two designated par three holes, where a hole-in-one will win the contestant a new car or a $10,000 check from Kodak. In addition, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the longest drive, the shot closest to the pin and the pre-tournament putting challenge.
Other variations of participation include providing a hole sponsorship, which is available for $250, or donating a prize for Sunday’s silent auction. This year, auction items include an 18-inch strand of pearls, spa packages, sporting event tickets, various electronics and luxury vacation getaways.
“Come participate in the Coley and support a great cause. I guarantee you will experience fun times with great people, while simultaneously changing the lives of many sick and injured children within our community.”
For more information and reservations, please call Tournament Director Bob DaRin at (770) 587-1858 or PR Representative Tessa Komer at (678) 770-7709.
