The Design Group (TDG) to Partner for the 100 Black Men of America 23rd Annual Conference
TDG will provide the design and décor elements for the 100 Black Men of America Conference Gala and Concert in New York City.
New York, NY, June 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Design Group (TDG), one of the country’s premier event design and production companies, will join 100 Black Men of America Inc. for their 23rd annual conference gala to be held at the New York Hilton Hotel on Saturday, June 13th, 2009. For this exclusive gala, 100 Black Men of America, Inc. has called upon The Design Group for their event design and décor expertise to create a sophisticated and upscale feel, all while staying in an economy-friendly budget.
The TDG-designed event will include a pre-reception, black tie dinner hosted by actress, Vivica Fox, and Fox NFL Sunday’s Curt Menefee. Honorees for the evening include New York Governor David Paterson and Dr. Howard Fuller, with many other distinguished guests in attendance. The evening closes with a very special performance from recording star Maxwell.
To create this special evening for the 100 Black Men of America Conference Gala, TDG’s floral design team is going mobile. The Design Group will set up a floral shop on premise to create a variety of displays specifically for each event space and table. In addition, TDG will add a touch of elegance and summer beauty, providing the table cloths, napkins, centerpieces and candles. For the concert portion of the evening, the Hilton’s Grand Ballroom will transform into a modern day supper club. Using their carpentry capabilities, TDG will create custom sponsor-logo furniture to give the ballroom more of a lounge feel. Adding to the themed look, lighting, linens and floral arrangements will be provided by The Design Group. Keeping these tough economic times in mind, The Design Group has created a grand feeling for all of the notable guests attending these special events, while staying simple and elegant.
