Nick Zoller, Republican Announces Candidacy for State Representative in District 19

Nick Zoller announced his candidacy for the Florida House of Representatives today in an open letter to residents of the district. Zoller stressed the need for tort reform, fiscal conservatism, balanced budget and reform in the education system.

Jacksonville, FL, June 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- "Friends, supporters and constituents of district 19:

"Florida in 2009 has many problems, from frivolous lawsuits causing issues very much linked to our economic dowturn, to the inability of our elected leaders to balance the budget, and finally to an economic liberalism worse than that of nearly any other body run by the Republican party, the next election will set the tone for Florida's future.

"Due to the many issues present and after discussing solutions to these problems with friends, family and members of the Florida political community whom I respect greatly, I have decided to file papers with the Division of Elections to run for State Representative in district 19.

"I want to begin a conversation with every voter in district 19, regardless of party affiliation, to come up with common sense solutions to the problems our state and district are facing. One body should not make all the decisions without hearing the ideas of citizens, in a representative democracy, citizens should be able to discuss their ideas with elected representatives, and therefore I will make myself available throughout this campaign to anyone wanting to discuss an issue that is pressing to the future of this great state. If elected, I will continue to make myself available weekly to the citizens of district 19, and any other Florida citizen.

"I ask for your support, and together we can make changes to make Florida stable again."

Yours truly,

Nick Zoller
Candidate
Florida House of Representatives, Dist. 19
Republican
