Virto Calendar is Color Coded web part for SharePoint which helps to aggregate events from different SharePoint sites in one calendar.

Virto Ajax Calendar surpasses the existing SharePoint calendar view's functionality by allowing users to specify the list or view, color code the displayed items by category of events such as internal or external, view day, week, month, year, and Gantt view.

What is new in release 1.2
Now you can use SQL Table as a Calendar Data Source. So you can add any desired field of your SQL Table to you SharePoint Calendar.
It also is possible to view the full name of any event even if it’s too long to be displayed in the calendar. Full name appears when you point cursor on the required event in the calendar.
Optional tooltip feature has been added. When you point cursor on the event, a balloon with some information appears. The fields displayed in this balloon by default are Title and Calendar. You can add one field to be displayed in balloon, e.g. Description, Location or any required information. Future released will also include possibility to add not only text fields, but also pictures and images.

Virto Calendar is built on Ajax technology and is designed for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. Installation is simple and only requires a small amount of time.
