TP Toys Donate Kingswood Wooden Climbing Frame to African School

Worcestershire, United Kingdom, June 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Pupils at Aladdin’s School in Cape Town were on an all time high after receiving a TP Toys Kingswood Climbing Frame kindly donated by TP Toys.

The Aladdin School is run by Luci and her assistant Liz who originates from Kenya. The children at the school are all aged between 18 months and 5 years and are all from local area.

TP Toys heard about the school’s plight from John Lewis, one of TP’s major stockists. John Lewis were on location in Cape Town taking pictures of TP products for their new brochure and requested the Kingswood Climbing Frame they had photographed to the school could be donated. TP Toys agreed, delighted to help such a worthwhile cause.

A TP spokesperson made the following statement: “Many thanks to Colin Shields, James Garvie and Liam Garvie from Cape Town Production who kindly offered their services in assembling the product at the school playground.”

The Aladdin School is run with minimal funding and Luci informed TP Toys that they were unable to enrol as many children as they would like due to their limited resources. TP hope that by donating this great addition to their playground it will provide opportunities for the children to take part in daily physical exercise which will help them to become happy and healthy and all the more ready for learning when in the classroom.

TP have been designing and manufacturing trampolines, climbing frames, slides, swings, wooden playhouses and sandpits for 50 years with a simple aim: to put exercise, activity and fun into children's lives.
