Annual Brangus Summit to be Held in Oklahoma City
San Antonio, TX, June 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) is pleased to announce that 2009 Annual IBBA Summit will be hosted in Oklahoma City, OK, September 23-25, 2009. The 3-day educational event is held in conjunction with the IBBA fall governance meetings, and provides breeders the opportunity to showcase their ranch with booth space. The Summit is occurring simultaneously with the Western National Show.
Summit participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations by leading DNA specialists, as well as take a tour of the USDA facility in El Reno, OK. The Grazinglands Research Laboratory in El Reno develops and delivers improved technologies, management strategies, and strategic and tactical planning tools which help evaluate and manage economic and environmental risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs, for integrated crop, forage, and livestock systems under variable climate, energy and market conditions.
A banquet for attendees will be held at the Oklahoma History Center, an 18-acre, 215,000 square-foot learning center exploring Oklahoma’s unique history of geology, transportation, commerce, culture, aviation, heritage and more.
