Advanced Search Engine Optimization Classes Scheduled in San Francisco Bay Area
The Bay Area Search Engine Academy has opened registration for their next two hands-on workshops to teach search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM). They are offering the classes in San Ramon and Santa Clara, California.
Livermore, CA, June 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Bay Area Search Engine Academy has started accepting online admissions to their upcoming Advanced and Master-level classes. The classes are geared towards Web professionals who need to get technical training on topics such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and social media optimization (SMO).
Thomas Petty, who is the President of the local training academy, and Associate Trainer from the internationally-known Search Engine Academy says, "Because we are part of the Search Engine Academy family of training centers, the material we teach is standardized across the world, but unique to our program. There's a lot of technical material that we cover in the few short days of the class."
There are two upcoming workshops scheduled in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The first workshop will be held in San Ramon, California during the week of June 22, 2009 at the Bishop Ranch Business Park near where highways 580 and 680 intersect. This will serve those in the East Bay. The second workshop will be held in Santa Clara, California during the week of July 27 at the Biltmore Hotel and Suites off Highway 101 for those who are in the South Bay.
People learn and understand the methodology best when they can learn by doing. "Upon completing the course and passing the final exam, graduates of the 5-day Master-level workshop are subsequently enrolled in a 6-month mentoring program with the Academy, which is also a unique benefit of attending our courses," Petty adds. Attendees of the 3-Day Advanced SEO or 5-day Master SEO workshops will learn the intricacies of search engine optimization in the hands-on classes.
Participants bring their own laptop to these workshops and work on their problems right there with other students and the instructor. "We are unique in that we keep workshops small so participants can have direct interaction with the instructor and other classmates while working on problems," Petty said. He added, "The workshop format and the limited enrollment have several advantages over traditional large scale seminars. You actually learn SEO skills with hands-on guidance with tremendous focus to building the skills of each participant."
Petty has over 20 years experience in the corporate IT industry, as well as several years teaching and consulting with businesses who want to get better results with the search engines.
Participants also have the option to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) which are backed by the University of Southern Mississippi, making the Bay Area Search Engine Academy a place where students can learn structured SEO skills that are both recognized and approved by the US educational system.
