Exquisite Apps Launches "BurpStar" - an iPhone Application That Provides a Stage for a Brand-New Talent Show of Its Own Kind

Zurich, Switzerland, June 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- There is still hope for the less-gifted singers among us who have not made it to the latest edition of Pop Idol: BurpStar a new iPhone application provides the stage for a brand-new talent show of its own kind. Everybody has the prerequisites to become a BurpStar. Even without taking sing classes for years and/or being talented at all.

The application analyses and scores burp samples according to loudness, length and variation of melody. Thus BurpStar is the ‚must have‘-game for cheerful parties and nights out with friends (please note that in order to boost the user’s performance the previous consumption of fizzy or stimulating drinks is explicitly permitted). The winner takes it all – Or at least what the BurpStar wheel of fortune points to.

Those who like it a bit less virtual can also upload their personal ‘Best-of’ collection of burp samples to the BurpStar website www.burpstar.com where they will be published to a global audience. This however includes the risk of being voted ‘BurpStar of the Month’ by the online-community and becoming an overnight-success.
