Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA Pioneer Royce Gracie Teaching in CT with Black Belt Jim Hughes

West Hartford, CT, June 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Legendary Royce Gracie will be appearing in Connecticut at the Jim Hughes and Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA Academy in East Windsor CT on Saturday and West Hartford CT on Sunday. Mr Gracie will conduct beginning, intermediate, as well as advanced BJJ and MMA classes for students throughout New England.

Gracie Jiu Jitsu is a practical self defense martial art. Mr Gracie is famous for his performance in the early UFC competitions for taking his opponents to the ground and making them give up with submission holds. Royce Gracie's father, Grandmaster Helio Gracie, and his uncles, paved the way with their "vale tudo" competitions in Brazil. This upcoming Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu JItsu and Mixed Martial Art event will be held June 6 and 7. This event will be in honor of Helio Gracie who passed away in January of this year.
