Active RFID Tag with Mounting Strap

Toronto, Canada, June 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- GAO RFID Inc.'s (www.GAORFID.com) 433MHz active RFID tag (GAO124021) is equipped with a metal crimping strap intended for use on circular metallic frames such as a bicycle tires. The active tag transmits RF signals and tag data including site and vendor ID, transmission repetition interval and alarm counter at a pre-set time intervals. It has an estimated life span of five years at a transmission time interval of approximately 1.5 seconds. All data is pre-programmed prior to shipping.

As it is encapsulated in a molded plastic and sealed in a rubber case during the manufacturing process, the frame mount tag operates well even in adverse environmental conditions. The tag also makes accommodations for multi-reading by using an anti collision algorithm. It can be configured to accommodate Wiegand interface.
