Woods Hole Gets New Restaurant

Woods Hole, MA, June 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Quick's Hole -- a lobster taco & burrito joint in Woods Hole -- opens for the season tomorrow June 6th 2009. Quick's Hole is the first new restaurant in decades in Woods Hole, which is the port town where the ferry leaves for Martha's Vineyard. Quick's Hole is known for it's unique pairing of Baja California style and Cape Cod lobster and is committed to sourcing local produce and being part of the farm-to-table movement.

Quick's Hole is pleased to announce the hiring of award-winning chef MacKenzie Gemmil of Hartford, CT. In addition, Quick's Hole has partnered with Erik Gura of the world-famous "Pie in the Sky" to bring artisanally-roasted coffee to the restaurant.

Quick's Hole welcomes tourists and locals alike with wide open lobster claws as they fling the doors open for the season tomorrow. "We flew in the face of the recession," says owner Beth Colt, "and expanded the restaurant with more seating, a bigger menu and a continued commitment to our philosophy of fresh local produce and seafood. We are very excited to welcome the community in to see and taste the changes."

Colt was quick to thank the Town of Falmouth Building Department for all their help and guidance in the construction process. "With a historic building like this one, we simply could not have opened without the help of Eladio Gore and his entire department."

The company motto as they open this weekend? "Just keep it 'wicked fresh'," said manager Kat Calabrese.
