Peace Love World Featured on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance

Miami, FL, August 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Peace Love World is a featured designer on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance. In early July, contestant and Miami resident Jeanine Mason chose the Miami-based clothing brand, created and designed by Alina Villasante, as her designer of choice for the show.

Peace Love World designer Alina Villasante says Jeanine personally called her to ask about her designs. “Jeanine asked for samples, and then, asked me to be her designer for the remainder of the season,” Villasante says. “The other dance contestants went wild for Peace Love World too, and Jeanine took it upon herself to spread the peace and love by sharing her clothes with her competitors.”

Jeanine first wore Peace Love World’s “I am Peace” form-fitting sheer ribbed cotton racerback tank on the July 1 episode. The black tank features a peace symbol and retails for $30 at www.peaceloveworld.com. Another contestant, Randi Evans, wore a different style of tank on that same episode.

Week after week, since that first appearance, anywhere from two to five contestants have worn Peace Love World tanks, T-shirts and fleece pants on the show.

They’ve mostly opted for four of the brand’s five primary designs. Those four chosen designs are “I am Peace,” “I am Love,” “I am Happiness,” and “I am Chaos.”

The “I am Love” design features a drawing of a heart. ‘I am Chaos’ displays a whimsical drawing of a person displaying the universal two-fingered V-sign for peace. And “I am Happiness” is, fittingly, the Peace Love World version of a happy face drawing.

As for Peace Love World, everyone at the company strongly supports Jeanine in her quest to win the show’s grand prize and being named “America’s Favorite Dancer.” The final segment of the two-part finale airs tonight, August 6, on FOX.

Peace Love World even hosted a viewing party for Jeanine’s family and friends in Miami last night, August 5. The party was featured on WSVN-TV 7 news. For this special occasion, Peace Love World created a limited edition “I am Jeanine Mason” T-shirt and donated them to all of Jeanine’s family, friends and fans at the viewing party.

Villasante says, “We will all be wearing our shirts tonight in the hope that Jeanine is crowned ‘America’s Favorite Dancer.’”
