Go Behind the Scenes with the World's Top Photographers
New York-based photo agency Stockland Martel (http://stocklandmartel.com) represents some of the most successful editorial and advertising photographers in the world. Now, with the launch of its blog (http://stocklandmartelblog.com), it's possible to go behind the scenes with these photographers—such as Jim Fiscus on set with LeBron James—as well as learn about their upcoming projects. A fascinating read, both for those in the business and anyone who is curious about how images get made.
New York, NY, June 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Renowned Photo Agency Stockland Martel Launches Blog
New York–based photo agency Stockland Martel is pleased to announce the launch of stocklandmartelblog.com. The blog, which is written in the form of an online magazine, features exclusive Q&As and short articles, as well as video, audio, and news about the agency's photographers’ latest work and upcoming projects, both personal and commercial.
Among the recent highlights: An interview with Nadav Kander on the making of “Obama’s People,” his 51-portrait series commissioned by The New York Times Magazine. A clip from Roxanne Lowit’s appearance on Make Me a Supermodel (unbelievably, she had to coach the twenty-somethings on how to look like they’re having fun). And a Q&A with Lauren Greenfield on how she developed her remarkable photo essay “Foreclosure Alley” from an assignment for GQ.
There’s lots of behind-the-scenes scoop, too. Readers can go on set with: David Drebin at the W Hotel as he provides his models with their motivation (drama, intrigue, hotness); Matthew Rolston as he directs Janet Jackson for a reportage-style shoot; and Jim Fiscus working to get a “badass” cover shot of LeBron James for ESPN The Magazine.
It’s all at stocklandmartelblog.com now, and there’s much more to come.
