AutoAlert today announced the launch of its iPhone Congestion Charge Application which allows you to check whether you are in the London Congestion Charging Zone and then pay via your phone. If you forget to pay, a reminder text message is sent to your phone at the end of the day. The application is available for download through iTunes. Alternatively, a small AutoAlert vehicle tracking unit can be used instead of an iPhone.

Clicking the Pay Button in the application generates a text message payment or connects you to the Congestion Charging Call Centre. If no payment is attempted, AutoAlert will send a text message reminder to your phone at a time of your choosing.
The application is available now through the iTunes store for less than £5. The reminder service, along with additional reports, maps and features is also available for just £5 per month on a pay as you go basis. The system can also be accessed using an AutoAlert GPS Vehicle Tracking device.
