Portland, OR, June 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The new feature film American Guys will be launching this summer and can be seen on line and on national cable vod starting June 15th. This award winning comedy from independent filmmaker Christopher Blackwell was shot on super 16mm film and is known to effectively show the struggles of roommates getting fired and facing eviction with a big touch of misadventure humor. Pyramid Productions is an independent Oregon based film company that shoots 16 mm low budget films. While the digital age is booming, still 16mm and 35mm motion picture film is Pyramid Productions choice. Pyramid Productions has the rights to three new screenplays in the comedy and action, thriller horror genre and plans to produce these films. The budgets have not been set, but each film can easily be brought in at one hundred thousand dollars or less while still being shot on 16mm film. While they plan to fund these follow up films themselves, the company is open to creating investment opportunities.
