Oddpodz Launches a Blog and Weekly Publication
Tampa, FL, August 15, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Oddpodz, the on-line community for creative classers launched a blog and weekly ezine called Openeyez.
Oddpodz.com is a new community that went live in July 2006. The site is designed for creatives, artists, innovators, writers, right-brainers, independent thinkers and those who aspire to elevate their idea generating capacity.
The site currently offers articles on creativity and innovation, monthly brain juice from its content partner Mental Floss magazine, interviews with noted trend and business gurus, a venting section where anyone can submit creations, observations and other segments of life that annoy or inspire for posting on the site and a marketplace of creative apparel and books. Within 60 days, the site will offer a real time social network enabling visitors to meet other creatives, showcase their work, experience music, art and film projects and exchange ideas.
The blog. (oddpodz/blog.com)
This blog covers a range of issues dealing with creative thinking and communication, innovation and off beat people, events and sightings. Main blog masters include: a former Wall Street investment banker gone internet entrepreneur, to the branding expert who coined the phrase Brain Tattoo and wrote a best selling book with the same name, to a graphic designer who is serious cyclist to a farm boy from Wisconsin who now calls Brooklyn, NY home.
Openeyez, the weekly ezine. (openeyez.com)
Delivered to your email box every Wednesday, sharp tongued, street guy, New Yorker Abe Sauer pounds out an informative, absurd and sometimes informatively absurd weekly dose of meaningful content.
The voice of this pub isn’t for everybody, but for who it’s for, it’s for. Its readers (over 5,000) include appreciators of irony, arguments, free-thinking and the fact that sometimes making up English words is more effective. Plus, they know that the best hamburger in America is the one served where they live, no matter what some magazine says.
Openeyez is for those who understand the maxim “live each day as if it’s your last” but who could never possibly use it un-sarcastically. It’s a mid week fill ‘er up. Just when you think that the workweek, the job, the routine and the mundane are depleting your creativity reserves, Openeyez delivers replenishment.
Reporting on events, movies, books and uncommonly cool things, Openeyez provides sources of entertainment or catalysts for brilliance. Openeyez. Is often sarcastic, but never imitated.
