E. Sue Huff Hosts TV Program Offering Advice on Getting a Job
Naples, FL, June 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sue Huff of Naples-based, E. Sue Huff & Associates, Inc.- Marketing and Management Consulting, is proud to announce the completion of a special TV program to help the unemployed be better prepared for the current job market.
Huff recently taped a 30 minute special television program in Cincinnati called STAND OUT and Get the JOB. The program is now airing on Cincinnati’s Citicable, channel 23 throughout the summer with a planned weekly run schedule.
Huff presented information about “Getting a Job, Keeping a Job and Being Excellent in your Job.” She also outlined tips for writing resumes, networking and being prepared for the interviewing process.
Huff says, “In today’s job market, you have to go beyond what is expected in every aspect of job hunting, resume writing and interview performance. There are record numbers of people looking for employment, right now and competition is tough. That means you must step out, speak out and stand out from the crowd – in everything you do.”
The Midwest continues to see unemployment rates soar. In Ohio, the number of people of out work has been pushed skyward due to the closure of numerous steel and automobile manufacturing plants.
“Many workers are being forced to reinvent themselves after years in a single industry,” comments Huff. “They need to think outside the box and consider returning to the educational area. That may mean training for a new career in high-demand jobs such as; healthcare and technology. I encourage people to think about their skill sets and knowledge and not so much on where they have worked before. Keeping a positive attitude is the key.”
Citicable is operated by the City of Cincinnati and provides live coverage of Cincinnati City government meetings.
