ra Information Systems’ Noel Kennedy is Selected as ‘UKBI Member of the Month,’ for His Role in Assisting the Incubation Community

In May 2009 the UKBI profiled Noel Kennedy, ra Information systems Business Development Manager, on his views of the business incubation industry and why ra are passionate about supporting other members. Noel Kennedy states “ra bring the technology with the excellent knowledge and experience of Incubation practitioners that we have learned from over the years, to provide a great package of real merit for the Incubation community. I was amazed at the variety of Incubation Centres in the UK and the services that they had on offer. Bringing ibcs into the market to assist with the actual day-to-day running of the centres has really opened my eyes as to what was available for this community”.
In the immediate pipeline, ra have just launched an online version of ibcs. Workaholics around the world can rejoice at the fact they could check meeting room space, run invoices and run incubation reports from the Internet connection at the hotel pool bar. ra have also been working on a questionnaire module that is specific to the incubation industry and should be of great benefit to all members.
Noel believes that ra are on the right track within the incubation community, and hopes that ibcs can continue to offer something to all the UKBI members. He states “I’m continually looking at ways for us to enhance the offerings we have, and although we know that no-one else has dedicated the time and learning to finding out the IT provisions needed to handle the intricacies of running an Incubation Centre, we must continue to learn from other UKBI members”
