MedPro Rx, Inc. Names New Pharmacist
Raleigh, NC, December 30, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Nancy McFarlane, president of MedPro Rx, Inc. (www.medprorx.com), a provider of specialty pharmacy services to clients with chronic illnesses, has announced that Stephanie Y. Clifton-Pace, PharmD, has joined the company as a clinical pharmacist. In this position, Clifton-Pace will be responsible for providing the proper infused and injectable medications to clients with chronic illnesses. With 11 years of pharmaceutical experience, Clifton-Pace has a background as a hospital corpsman and pharmacy technician for the United States Navy, staff/clinical pharmacist for Nash General Hospital, staff pharmacist for Kroger Pharmacy, and clinical pharmacist for Duke Health System in Durham, N.C. She has been recognized for her exceptional work in the military with the National Defense Service Award as well as the Meritorious Unit Commendation award.
Clifton-Pace is an active member of her community and serves as a volunteer pharmacist for Urban Ministries Open Door Clinic as well as a volunteer parent for her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. She is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists and the Wake County Pharmacy Association. A native of Frederick, M.D., who grew up in Louisburg, N.C., Clifton-Pace received a doctorate of pharmacy from Creighton University.
