600block was originally made as an online community of Baltimore area foodie’s in search of new places to find, try out, and share with friends. However, what do you do if you’re already in the city looking for someplace new or a daily food or drink special? That’s where viaPlace comes in. By utilizing the viaPlace framework, 600block is now available on the go, wherever you may be in the city. The 600block app is now available in iPhone’s app store.
Additionally, the Greater Baltimore Technology Council (GBTC), which facilitates successful business networking in Baltimore and who sponsored Twin Tech IV, asked Todd and Vince to give a demonstration of the app to promote Baltimore area businesses creating cutting-edge technologies.
viaPlace generated a lot of buzz and was well received by the tech community as more and more people become interested in location-based services, in addition to having a wealth of knowledge in the palm of your hand, whenever you want it, wherever you are.
Aside from promoting Mindgrub Technologies and its location-based experiences product viaPlace, Todd Marks and Vince Buscemi were there to support other Mindgrub initiatives, including Mario Armstrong’s S.T.E.M. targeted website, TechTechBoom, and the creative design and website development completed for Mario’s newest venture – the BWTechShow.
The BWTechShow strives to uncover and expose some of the most innovative people and businesses in technology by providing an online HD video presence so that they can showcase their talents. Through the BWTechShow, the duo was able to provide insight into the great things that they are creating in the Baltimore/D.C./Northern Virginia areas.
