Pet Chamber of Commerce Provides Advocacy for Animals and Pet-Related Businesses
The Pet Chamber of Commerce provides advocacy for animals, pet owners, and pet businesses on issues that affect animal wellness, pet-related business prosperity, and pet owner education and benefit.
Miami, FL, June 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PEt Chamber of Commerce presents Events to further Adoption and Pet Business Prosperity
Monica Rimada, former publisher of the Florida Pet Book, has announced the formation of the Pet Chamber of Commerce, Inc., an advocacy organization that will work on behalf of animals and the humans who love them. From its home office in Doral, Florida, the chamber has begun coordinating a series of events designed to target the issues of pet overpopulation and pet business challenges in South Florida with a plan to go national.
Each event brings with it the opportunity for pet rescues and shelters to be placed in the spotlight in the community. In addition, it brings to pet owners and pet businesses the chance to connect and prosper. Members of the chamber receive benefits from fellow chamber member businesses such as veterinarians, pet sitters, pet stores, and pet-friendly hotels that alone justify the cost of membership.
“The chamber will dedicate itself to pushing and promoting pet related businesses and education as its primary purpose,” Rimada said. “We are people helping pets and we mean it!”
The next Pet Chamber event will be at the Petco location at 6200 South Dixie Highway, in Miami, Florida from 11am to 3pm on July 25th, they will have goody bags, prizes, adoptable pets from Paws 4 You Rescue as well as pet businesses from the Pet Chamber of Commerce.

Formed in 2007, Paws 4 You Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer 501(c)3 animal rescue organization based in Miami, Florida.
