Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® Assist USO in Bagdad

Raleigh, NC, June 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- John Wood, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (www.rrar.com), has announced that the Association is supporting the troops by sending donations to the largest United Service Organization (USO) distribution center in Bagdad. Terry Benson, a past RRAR member, is serving a 12 to 16 month position with the USO where he is managing and opening the largest USO distribution point in the Middle East. Items are being collected until June 19 at RRAR, located at One Eleven Place at 111 Realtors Way in Cary.

Items in need:
· Chewing gum
· Razors, travel size shaving cream
· Travel size body soap
· Toothbrushes and toothpaste
· Smaller sized shampoo
· Girl Scout Cookies
· Small bottles of hand sanitizer
· Wet wipes
· Wipe down cloths, rags
· Chapstick
· Insect repellent
· Sunscreen
· Visine
· Finger nail clippers

“We are excited to assist in helping our troops,” said Raymond Larcher, executive vice president of RRAR. “This is a great opportunity for us to give back to the troops and let them know they are greatly appreciated and supported.”
