Denise has been an integral part of GWI for over eight years and has extensive experience as a Senior Claim Auditor. Denise’s new role as Assistant Vice President will entail a higher level of responsibility, overseeing GWI’s claims staff, conducting TPA audits, and working directly with the reinsurers and carriers to handle claim reimbursement issues and liability.

Denise began her career as a Claims Analyst for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Maine in 1987 prior to earning her Associate’s degree in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America. Ms. Ard has spent nearly 20 years in the claims business, previously employed as a Claims Auditor at National Risk Transfer in Sudbury, MA as well as at Corporate Benefit Audits.
