Purple Wave Auction Announces Director for New Equipment Auction Division

Lee's Summit, MO, June 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Purple Wave Auction, a local online auction firm, announced that Doug Regehr will be the Director of the Equipment Auction Division, effective immediately. An expert in the agricultural equipment industry, Regehr will lead Purple Wave’s Equipment Team in locating and marketing vehicles, agricultural, construction and heavy equipment to its nationwide network of buyers.

Regehr most recently served as the Purple Wave territory manager for the Iowa and Kansas City markets. Regehr holds a Master’s degree in Agribusiness from the Kansas State University and previously worked as Area Manager of Product Support for John Deere.

“After eleven years with John Deere, the secondary market for equipment is a natural fit for me,” said Regehr, “There is tremendous opportunity for Purple Wave to continue its growth in the equipment market and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
