Fideli Publishing sees the emerging eBook market as another possible revenue stream for authors and will offer free eBook file creation along with file posting to Amazon.com and Smashwords.com to each author purchasing a $395 publishing package through July 15, 2009.
Martinsville, IN, June 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Fideli Publishing will offer free eBook file creation and file posting to Amazon.com and Smashwords.com for all customers who purchase its “No Frills” $395 publishing package through July 15, 2009. “We see the emerging eBook market as another revenue stream for authors,” says Robin Surface, Fideli Publishing president. “We also recommend using eBooks to test the market before committing to a large print run.”

The Association of American Publishers listed 2005 eBook sales at $11.8 million versus overall book sales of $25.1 billion, and EBooks Corporation Ltd., which provides more than 70,000 e-book titles to consumers at eBooks.com, estimates that the e-book market hit $130 million in 2006, and $220 million in 2007.
“Obviously this market is in its early stages, and there aren’t as many books in this format,” Surface says. “Therefore, there is less competition in the eBook market right now, and independently published authors need to take advantage of that fact.”
