Boone County DogSport Hosts a USDAA Agility Trial June 27th & 28th at Oak Spring Kennels, Inc.
Poplar Grove, IL, June 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Come watch the fur fly as dogs of all sizes, colors, and breeds take to the field in the wonderful sport of Dog Agility. The event will be held outdoors, rain or shine, at Oak Spring Kennels in Poplar Grove, Illinois on Saturday June 27th & Sunday June 28th from 9:00am till about 2:00pm.
Dog agility is a competitive sport that tests the skills of the handler/dog team over a timed obstacle course. Competitors race against the clock as they direct their dogs to jump hurdles, scale ramps, burst through tunnels, traverse a see-saw and weave through a line of poles in an obstacle course configuration designed to challenge a handler's competitive and training skills.
