Business Ideas Compete Online for a Chance to Win the Idea Café Grant
Idea Cafe is running its Seventh Grant, aimed towards highlighting and promoting the best of American small business.

Fifty small business ideas are competing for the title of Idea Cafe Grant Winner in an online campaign, which allows Idea Cafe visitors to vote for the best entrepreneur. The fifty finalists were selected out of almost one thousand businesses, which had applied for the Seventh Idea Cafe Grant during the registration phase in April and May this year.
Now running for the seventh time, the Idea Cafe grant is featured on Business.gov—the Official Business Link to the U.S. Government. The grant consists of three phases: application, selection, and voting. Currently in its voting phase, the current grant is unique in allowing the site’s exclusive audience of small business owners to determine the winner.
Grant finalists are now being presented on the Idea Cafe blog at http://blog.ideacafe.com . Everyone can read through the list of inspirational business stories and vote for their favorite.
The winner will be announced shortly after voting closes on July 7th, and a new registration phase, for the Eighth Idea Cafe grant, will open on July 15th 2009.
The grant winner will receive a $1,000.00 check and priceless publicity on Idea Cafe. Traditionally, Idea Cafe Grant winners have gone on to earn further state and national recognition.
