Clearwell 4.5 Adds Even More Value to Forensics Consulting Solutions’ End-to-End Service Offering

FCS adds Multiple Language Support capability with the addition of Clearwell’s 4.5 E-Discovery Platform

Phoenix, AZ, June 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Forensics Consulting Solutions (FCS) today announced the addition of Clearwell’s 4.5 E-Discovery Platform and the Clearwell Mobile Device to their product offering.

“This latest offering from Clearwell will significantly impact the challenges of dealing with cross border litigation,” said FCS’ CEO, K.J. Kuchta. “This new platform addresses the problem of dealing with multiple languages. The new release can automatically identify over 50 languages during processing and associate documents with one or more identified languages. Clearwell has provided a set of flexible heuristics that can be used to optimize language identification rules and reduce identification false positives and noise.”

The new release also addresses Search and Analysis issues with the addition of “stop word indexing” and hit highlighting. The new administration and processing features can now detect truncated Lotus Notes documents and provides import wizards to make it easier to import custodians and users into cases.

“Of course, we are thrilled with all of the options Clearwell has added with its latest release,” said Beth Finkle, Director of Business Development for FCS, “Our clients are increasingly dealing with data containing multiple languages and now with 4.5 they will benefit from the expanded Unicode searching and stemming that includes CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) character languages. Additionally, the dual functionality for using the Clearwell Mobile Device with 4.5 helps to effectively manage clients’ data and addresses issues that arise under the EU data privacy laws.”

The Clearwell Mobile Solution for cross-border litigation is an integrated hardware and software solution that can be transported directly to the country where the data resides. The solution specifically addresses Europe’s Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC) which protects personal data privacy and restricts the transfer and use of data with countries that do not comply with the data protection requirements detailed in the directive, such as the U.S.

FCS, who has collected and processed data from nearly every continent in the world, expects that Clearwell’s 4.5 platform will be a powerful and useful addition to its’ end to end client solutions.

“If you are currently facing litigation and there is a possibility for data containing multiple languages,” said Ms. Finkle, “FCS is ready, willing and able to help you plan for an effective case strategy and winning formula utilizing the latest Clearwell 4.5 technology.”
