Our New Addition at Head-Bone.com
Head-Bone.com has just completed a round of additions and improvements. They have added random Quickies, a Funny-Bone Tag Cloud menu on the front page and lots of new jokes. They are also introducing Bone-Head as the mascot and masthead.
LaPorte, IN, August 18, 2006 --(PR.com)-- They have just finished an upgrade at www.Head-Bone.com . Along with the "Say What" stupid quotes, you will now get random Quickies and the new Funny-Bone tag cloud navigation. There is a minor format change, they are introducing our new Bone-Head character as the mascot and masthead.
“The addition of the Bone-Head character was my idea. It's something from my past. Years ago I created a series of designs for t-shirts centered around this character. He was very popular a generated a lot of feedback from folks who purchased the t-shirts,” said Dale Dahlgren, Head-Bone.com founder. “So I decided to bring him back. Just in case anyone asks, Bone-Head is not a self portrait. I actually have a little more hair.”
Head-Bone.com was originally created to let visitors stop by a grab a quick laugh. The 'Say What?' feature fit this idea by delivering random quotes. But not the usual quotes. 'Say What?' is based on the dumbest things people say. You'll find celebrities, politicians and sports stars all saying real stupid things and Head-Bone.com has been serving them up. Though Quickies are also served up randomly on the front page, they are a little different. They are those short jokes, only one or two sentences, that comedians use between the longer stories. “I've always had a tough time remembering jokes, no matter how funny.” Dahlgren said. “But the Henny Youngman one-liners stuck with me. I hope Quickies does the same for Head-Bone.com visitors.”
There have been a lot of new jokes and joke categories added to the Funny-Bone section. To liven up a long, boring list of categories, they have added a new navigation style for the Funny-Bone section based on the popular tag-clouds. In the preliminary testing, visitors preferred it to the old list style.
If you like jokes and haven't stopped by www.Head-Bone.com recently, check it out. You will find a large and growing collection of jokes and an irreverent view on life and politics in America. Jokes and politics, is that an oxymoron?
