Two Arrested Hiding in School Closet

Tacoma, WA, June 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested two suspected burglars found hiding in a closet of a Washington middle school due to detection of threatening activity by the school’s Sonitrol Pacific security system June 21.

Sonitrol Pacific Operator Cynthia Burr received a system activation from one of the school’s portable classrooms and called the school district’s guard service.

A guard responded to the scene and found a boy and girl inside one of the portable’s closets. He detained the two juveniles; they were later taken into custody by police.

The two suspected intruders got inside the portable classroom by taking the screen out of a window someone left open and crawling through.
