Oistr.com Announces a New Way of Booking Hotels Online: Surf, Find What You Need Based on a Map, Not a List
Oistr.com, a product of Oggle Interactive Inc. has been approved by Expedia to provide online hotel bookings using an innovative visual map-based interface.
Vancouver, Canada, June 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Vancouver based Oistr.com received the go-ahead from Expedia to use their system to let users find hotels on a map in relation to restaurants, nightclubs and other points of interest, instead of choosing the hotel from a list.
Marketing Director and co-founder Scott Carmichael says “If you want to base your search for a hotel on the fact that you’re coming into town for the night to go to a concert at a stadium, you have to look up the stadium on a mapping site, then compare it to the simple map of a hotel you find on a typical travel site. We provide a solution allowing you to choose exactly which points you want on the map in comparison to each other without any irrelevant clutter.”
