M2D Events Announces ShareFEST March 9-10, 2010 in Philadelphia
New Conference Focuses Exclusively on SharePoint by Life Sciences; Companies NextDocs and Microsoft are Platinum Sponsors
San Diego, CA, June 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- M2D Events today announced the opening of registration for ShareFEST, their new conference focused on the use of Microsoft SharePoint in pharmaceutical, medical device, contract research and biotechnology firms. The inaugural ShareFEST will talk place March 9-10, 2010 at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. More than 200 attendees and twenty leading vendors of SharePoint-based solutions are expected.
In announcing ShareFEST, Margaret Mottolo, the head of M2D Events in North Andover, MA, explained, “In working with our clients, we became aware of the enormous growth of SharePoint as a platform for managing content in life sciences companies. It is clear that the demand is there for a full-scale life sciences industry conference with the use of SharePoint that as its singular focus.”
Mottolo also announced that NextDocs and Microsoft had been signed as platinum sponsors for ShareFEST. Matt Walz, who has also signed on as one of the track chairs, offered this perspective, “Over the last couple of years, the discussion has shifted from how FDA-regulated companies ‘could’ use SharePoint to how they ‘are’ using SharePoint. In my track at ShareFEST, we are going to exclusively focus on speakers from industry companies sharing case studies on how they are using SharePoint today to address core business processes from SOP management to management of clinical trial master files.”
