"This was a big decision for us," commented publisher Jean Hunt. "Having produced the books for years we were comfortable with the old methods and new exactly what to expect with every print run. However, when we discovered that the laminated paper of the grade and quality previously used in the Gay Wedding Organizer made it impossible to recycle the books, we knew we had to do something about it." When asked if there was a financial incentive for the decision, Jean replied; "No, it actually costs more to produce the environmentally friendly version, as the paper and production methods are different. This was a purely ethical decision."
