As board member, Kelly will assist the law school in its community outreach efforts and will help identify, cultivate, and involve fellow alumni in areas of student recruitment and career networking.
Kelly concentrates his commercial litigation practice in eminent domain matters, as well as other real property disputes, business tort claims and various contract-based disputes. He volunteers in the community and, over the years, has served the United Way, the American Heart Association, the City of Fort Myers Economic Development Advisory Board, the Department of Children and Families, and Teen Court. Kelly received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, magna cum laude, in 1993 and his law degree from Emory University in 1997. Kelly has authored several articles on eminent domain, serves on The Florida Bar's Eminent Domain Committee and is a member of The Association of Eminent Domain Professionals (AEDP).
