RoSoGo, the Coaching Social Network, Has Launched

The coaching industry has now its own dedicated social network: it's called RoSoGo.com.

London, United Kingdom, June 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- What was mostly a North-American & British phenomenon has now spread worldwide. The world of coaching has become a wild jungle full of fancy job titles: life coach, business coach, finance coach, image coach, executive coach... you basically can find a coach for pretty much everything.

According to Benoit Chovet, cofounder of RoSoGo, the objectives of this brand new online community are simple:

- Help the coaching industry grow & mature as a whole, by bringing clarity and no-nonsense information to the public in a clear & centralized manner

- Help coaching professionals improve their visibility online, share ideas with like-minded people and reach new prospects & clients

- Help coaching organisations establish their brand online as well as promote their services & accreditations

Benoit, who started his career in the Internet industry at the heart of the Silicon Valley back in 1998, has since then been working for many high-profile companies such as beenz.com, Amazon, Eurostar or Carphone Warehouse. "I had the chance to see it all: startups failing, startups succeeding, corporations getting entangled in the web." he said with a smile. "I also had the chance to experience business coaching first-hand... that's how the idea of RoSoGo came to life."

"You can already find a lot of information on coaching," he said. "Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, personal blogs, Google obviously... but what makes us different is that RoSoGo is fully, entirely dedicated to the coaching industry. How do you find a coach? The most efficient way currently is the good old word of mouth. Search for 'life coach' on Google and you get more than 30 million results, that's a lot to start with! Like every social network, RoSoGo is about getting people in touch. But we make sure we keep such relationships relevant, because RoSoGo.com is all about coaching."

Benoit added: "The popularity of coaching over the past decade means a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon. Now the downside is you've got a lot of cow-boys out there. But the industry has been growing wiser and, sooner rather than later, 'life coach' will be a job title of the past... a bit like 'webmaster' in the Internet industry, when a 'Jack of all trade' computer nerd could build an entire website from start to finish. Specialization is key, for the sake of the the public, the clients as well as the coaching professionals themselves. And we believe RoSoGo can be an integral part of this evolution."
