He has also studied epidemiology at Emory University in Atlanta and received an MPH in Public Health from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr Gallegos has served on numerous committees and held office in several professional organizations. He has been a frequent speaker and contributor in national conferences, is widely published, and is the recipient of numerous awards.
