Department of Veterans Affairs Selects Staff Patrol to Provide Security Equipment
The Acquisition Management Section awards Staff Patrol a contract to provide several hundred personal defense items for use within the agency. The award was issued because of the unique product design and the ability to greatly reduce the risk of personal injury.
Miami, FL, June 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Staff Patrol announced their selection as the vendor for hundreds of personal security products to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Acquisition Management Section awarded the contract in recognition of the products ability to enhance security and safeguard personnel. The VA’s Secretary Shinseki said earlier, "The long-term priority will always be to transform the VA into a 21st Century organization, but we must begin from where we are and build momentum quickly." Staff Patrol’s dedication to the agencies goals allowed the contract fulfillment to be done within budget and with expedited delivery.
Staff Patrol’s chief product development manager said, “Recognizing the changing needs of our customers is of paramount importance. We must be able to meet the specifications of today’s requirements and deliver the solutions quickly. But it is equally important to be forward thinking and innovative in the new products we offer. Many of the products we will be providing next year are already under development and in testing.”

In a follow up meeting, Staff Patrol announced several new product enhancements that will be available throughout and VA and supporting agencies. The new contract engagement plans include personal security, rescue equipment, tactical gear, surveillance and imaging equipment.
