Simon Rhee, whom Black Belt labels “one of the most interesting Martial Artists of our time,” has been running his Woodland Hills studio since 1980 teaching both kids and adults the art of self defense. Besides his normal students, he has also taught many big names in both the sports and entertainment industries.
His credentials as a martial artist expand in his role as an award-winning entertainer. With 2 Taurus World Stunt awards for both a fire burn and a fight scene, Simon Rhee has all the right moves for both the Tae Kwon Do and movie worlds. 20 years as a stuntman, actor, choreographer and 2nd unit director have brought him recognition on and off screen.
The 7th degree grandmaster in Tae Kwon Do, 4th in Hap Ki Do, continues to produce many tournament champions, confident students and continues his tradition of excellence in teaching the Martial Arts as he has for 30 years, most likely for years to come.
