Bob Robinson for State Representative Election Committee Launches Blog and Facebook Page
The Bob Robinson for State Representative Election Committee launches public blog page on its Web site and a Facebook page for volunteer recognition.
Vermontville, MI, July 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Bob Robinson for State Representative Election Committee announced in June the launch of a public blog page on its Web site and a Facebook page for volunteer recognition. Robinson, a Vermontville resident, is running as a candidate for State Representative of Eaton County/Michigan District 71.
“People are feeling the sting of a true crisis, throughout the state and district,” said Robinson. “Many are losing homes and jobs. Parents are struggling to pay mortgages and college tuition is slipping from our grasp. The new blog page on our Web site will let people share their story about how our economic disaster is affecting their families so that legislators and other people can see and hear why fixing our state can’t wait another day.
“In future days we’ll release specific information on big picture ways to address the economic problem,” added Robinson. “For now we want to make sure that everyone understands the depth of the problem we’re facing.”
The campaign committee has also launched a Facebook page at http://facebook.dj/district71 where volunteer recognition and behind the scenes activities for the campaign will be highlighted for the public.
“Our campaign is about people helping people,” said Robinson, who refers to himself as a “citizen” candidate. “We believe in people, and want to make sure their contributions are rightly recognized.”
Financed without special interest contributions, the campaign has already recruited more than two dozen volunteers from across party lines.
