Leading Law Firm Offers Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Seminar for Local Employers

A sexual harassment prevention training seminar for employers, supervisors and managers will be offered on July 15 in Oxnard, CA at the offices of leading law firm, Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP.

Oxnard, CA, July 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ventura County’s largest law firm, Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP, will hold a sexual harassment prevention training seminar from 7:30-9:30 a.m., July 15. Partner Jonathan Fraser Light will present the seminar in the firm’s offices, located on the sixth floor of 1000 Town Center Drive in Oxnard.

“Sexual harassment prevention training is essential for all California employers,” Light said. “California law requires that companies with 50 or more employees provide their supervisors with at least two hours of sexual harassment prevention training every two years. New supervisors must be trained within six months of starting their supervisory position. NCHC’s training seminars are offered to help companies, large and small, comply with the law at a cost-effective price.”

Attendees will receive a sex harassment training acknowledgment form they can sign and return to their employer for their personnel file. The cost for the seminar is $50. Seating is limited to 22 participants and registration is required. For reservations and to confirm that space is available, contact Dinorah Baker by phone at (805) 988-8337 or by e-mail at dbaker@nchc.com.
