Passion to Re-Educate Business Owners and Help them Succeed Clinched Marcos Strafacce’s Decision to Join ActionCOACH
Former Corporate Executive Marcos Strafacce joins the ActionCOACH franchise to realize his passion of helping others while also running his own independent coaching business.
Las Vegas, NV, July 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Impressed by the leadership of ActionCOACH founder and CEO Brad Sugars, Strafacce joined the ActionCOACH franchise –the world’s leader in business coaching.
“My first impression of this franchise was that of a company led by a great leader who built a solid company with great professionals –while conveying his values and beliefs in a very disciplined and efficient manner,” Strafacce said. “I was also impressed by the company’s facilities at its Las Vegas head office, the professional team running the corporate office, the high level of its certification process as well as the quality and depth of the systems and supporting tools available to us.”
The other drivers in Strafacce’s decision to join the ActionCOACH franchise were limited growth in the corporate environment, a bigger opportunity in business coaching to help others succeed, the proven, successful ActionCOACH franchise system and the company’s core values.
“I had reached a point in the corporate world where my capacity to make a difference was very limited. I wanted to use my skills to help businesses and organizations succeed so I decided to jump out of the ‘rat race’ and soar as an independent coach supported by the great ActionCOACH franchise system,” he said. “My Master Licensee Kevin Alft’s constant support and guidance further helped build my confidence in the franchise.”
Strafacce –who will be covering the North and West Los Angeles County as well as Ventura County has worked for several companies such as Shell Oil Brazil, 3M Brazil, Citibank Brazil & Latin America, Citibank New York, Cendant and Affinity Group in various senior executive roles.
Strafacce’s corporate career spanning over two decades in senior executive positions is marked by many accomplishments.
As a marketing professional at 3M Brazil, Strafacce was responsible for the launch of Post-it Notes in the Brazilian market. At Cendant, he launched RCI Points on a Global basis –a huge milestone in the timeshare industry. He helped Affinity Group turnaround its 35-year old Coast to Coast subsidiary by revamping its marketing and helped with reengineering and streamlining its operations.
He also led the Good Sam Club to surpass the one-million member mark for the first time in its 40-year history.
“I’ve been exposed to everything from small and mid-sized private companies to Blue Chip Companies. In my past career, I launched new businesses, reengineered and turned around troubled companies and was consistently successful in managing multimillion dollar P&Ls as the head of several businesses,” Strafacce said. “I started small and climbed up the corporate ladder doing a little bit of everything, becoming a great generalist with a broad vision and tremendous business acumen.”
A member of the Rotary Club International and the Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME), Strafacce holds an MBA degree in General Management from Columbia Business School at Columbia University in New York.
“I was also a member of the Rotary Club in Southern Denver, Colorado and was responsible for water projects targeting countries in need such as Thailand, Nicaragua and Guatemala where Rotary Club partnered with organizations such as ‘Engineers Without Borders’ and ‘Water for People’ to bring clean water to communities in need,” he said.
Strafacce is excited about the ActionCOACH business opportunity.
“I have a vision of helping others succeed and becoming part of a larger community –that by joining forces will help facilitate better, bigger causes at a global level,” he said. “I am proud to join ActionCOACH and excited about the immense opportunity that lies ahead.”
