Digital Radio Station UrbanLatinoRadio.fm will launch a new series of branded entertainment segments, Hooked on E. These segments will incorporate the best aspects of a traditional radio show while streaming video and will feature an interactive component.
Hooked on E! will promote the best of everything “Latino” including talents, trends and products. Combing branded entertainment segments within a traditional radio format Hooked on E! will be not only entertaining but also informative.
Hooked on E! will be produced by Eric Hanson former Vice President of Branded Entertainment and Development for Emmy Award winning talk-show host Montel Williams and the Montel Show.

Hooked on E! will be hosted by Stand-Up Comedian Erik Rivera along with a panel of comedians, lifestyle gurus and experts. Rivera is a favorite on New York City comedy scene and appears regularly at The Comedy Cellar, Caroline’s on Broadway, Broadway Comedy Club and Comic Strip Live,
This spring Erik starred in the feature film, Stand Up 360 along with Caroline Rhea, which was released in theaters nationwide. In addition, he was handpicked to host their Latino film series, Stand Up 360…Muy Caliente.
Rivera has also appeared in two independent features, My Brother and Stand Up. With his audience pleasing style and relentless work ethic, it’s not surprising that Erik has appeared numerous times on SiTV, Comedy Central and most recently on MTV Tr3s’ Top Trece Icons. Erik served as a special correspondent for the Montel Williams Show during season 16 and 17. He currently has a sitcom in development.
Erik continues to perform at colleges and clubs nationwide. When in Los Angeles you can find him at The Famous Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and The Ice House. In the summer of 2007 Rivera won the Diamonds in the Rough Award at The Latino Laugh Festival in Hollywood and had the honor of performing to a packed house at The Kodak Theatre along side Carlos Mencia and other top Latino comedians.
