TVS Television Network Brings Back Sports Networks on TV4U.Com
The TVS Television Network, founded in 1961 by Chicago White Sox Co-Owner Eddie Einhorn, is back in the sports network business with two channels on TV4U.Com. TVS Sports.Com will feature complete event action while TVS 24-7.Com will show sports talk, sports news, and sports features.
Henderson, NV, July 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The legendary TVS Television Network has returned to the airwaves with two IPTV channels on the TV4U.Com 48 channel Video Portal. TVS Sports.Com and TVS 24-7.Com are now established on the TV4U.Com free internet TV network.
TVS Television Network began producing and distributing TV sports in 1961. It became the leading independent TV network for almost two decades, producing and distributing major college basketball, the NCAA Basketball Tournament, major auto races, major college football bowl games, PGA and LPGA Golf, LPBA bowling, AIAW Championships, ATP Tennis, and many sports specials.
TVS also televised the World Football League in 1974.
The TVS Sports.Com channel will be unique in that it will feature world class athletes not associated with the major sports leagues and organizations.
Challenge Cup Bowling, Make That Spare, Jackpot Bowling, and Celebrity Bowling will give any top bowler a chance to be a champion. Similar programs will exist in pool, arm wrestling, tennis, golf, darts, weight lifting, soccer, basketball, and even auto racing.
"For decades shows like this were produced by networks like TVS and the Mizlou Television Network," said TVS Television network CEO Charry Kennedy.
"The Miller Doubles Bowling Championships, the Brunswick Team Bowling Championships, the National Pro Arm Wrestling Championships were all network staples and were always very popular."
TVS Sports.Com is producing Challenge Cup Bowling, Make That Spare, Jackpot Bowling, and Celebrity Bowling at the Silver Nugget Casino in N Las Vegas.
Eight classes of auto racing- midgets, bandeleros, bombers, chargers, trucks, late modeos, roadsters, and legends- are being produced at the Bull Ring at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Boxing Illustrated fights are being produced in North Dakota. Pool, Rodeo and Arm Wrestling shows are currently being finalized.
"These were the first reality TV shows with Joe Fan able to show his or her skills," continued Kennedy. "This will be a special channel for all sports fans as they can watch great sports that otherwise would never be made for TV."
TVS 24-7.Com will feature sports talk and sports news as well as non play by play sports features. Sports talk programming is being produced in association with the Sports Byline USA Radio Network. Sports News Network, once owned by Mizlou but now owned by Margate Entertainment LLC, will provide sports news.
Margate also owns the TVS Television Network and the TV4U.Com 48 channel IPTV network. Margate is based in Henderson, Nevada and is a multi platform audio and video content provider for movies, TV, non theaterical, and home audio and video.
