Dozens of "Princesses" Raise $1,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation®
Cleveland, OH, July 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Westfield Southpark Mall hosted a princess makeover party on June 26 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Northeast Ohio Region. For a $10 donation, each “princess” received a magical tiara, fabulous maribou boa and dazzling hair glitter.
Families had the opportunity to purchase an 8x10 picture of their beautiful princesses at Kiddie Kandids and receive any style ‘Perfect Treasure’ portrait montage free of charge. Other activities included crafts, treats and a puppet show.
Sagamore Hills native Sarah, who is battling AV Canal and other heart defects, was on hand for the event. In March of 2008, six-year-old Sarah’s wish to visit Disney World, to meet all of her favorite Disney characters, came true thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The funds raised at the Princess Party will help to grant the heartfelt wishes of seriously-ill children in Northeast Ohio.
“We are deeply grateful for the continuous support we have received from the Strongsville community,” remarked Executive Director Kelly Kleinschmidt.
