Santa Cruz Bible Church League Makes a Bounce Pass to Faith Hoops

Santa Cruz, CA, July 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Faith Hoops, a sports ministry entity specializing in basketball leagues, camps and 3-on-3 tournaments announced today that Santa Cruz Bible Church has chosen the company to continue the Co-Ed Adult Basketball League it founded over ten years ago. The league recently finished another successful season, with over 100 teams and 800+ players participating. Faith Hoops will own, manage and conduct the league throughout Santa Cruz County this fall, kicking things off in late September. Santa Cruz Bible Church plans to partner with Faith Hoops as the league moves forward.

“We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to continue this amazing basketball ministry,” said Matt Meisner, Director of Basketball Operations for Faith Hoops Adult Leagues. Registration for the fall season will begin on July 13th, with the format and playing locations similar to the Santa Cruz Church Bible League. The season will include a family themed All-Star Weekend that will feature the league’s top players as well shooting contests, great prizes and activities for kids. 20% of the net proceeds from the league will be donated to Club Dust (clubdust.org), a non-profit organization that builds houses for extremely poor families in the border towns of Tijuana and Tecate, Mexico. “Our goal is to raise enough money to build a house for the Club Dust 2009 winter trip this December,” said Stacey McQueen, Faith Hoops League Coordinator & Event Manager.
