Mosaic Harmony Celebrates 16th Season and Names 2009-2010 Advisory Board

The choir elected its 2009-2010 Advisory Board members this past April and outgoing Advisory Board President Roxane Hughes, who has been with the choir for 8 seasons, was thrilled to make the announcement of the incoming board members, whose terms began officially on July 1.

Oakton, VA, July 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mosaic Harmony, an interfaith, multicultural community choir based in Northern Virginia, recently wrapped their 2008-2009 season with their 13th consecutive appearance at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Hamilton, Virginia on June 28. The choir elected its 2009-2010 Advisory Board members this past April and outgoing Advisory Board President Roxane Hughes, who has been with the choir for 8 seasons, was thrilled to make the announcement of the incoming board members, whose terms began officially on July 1.

The slate of 2009-2010 Board members are President - Kala Payne (Alto); Vice President - Linda Robinson (Soprano); Secretary - Mike Doan (Bass); Treasurer - Peggy Kramer (Alto); Membership - Nikki Barnett (Alto); Fundraising - Renee Loustaunau (Tenor); and Promotions - Kim Moss (Alto). Included on the advisory board are ex officio members David North (Director), Laura Schanes Romstedt (Assistant Director) and Janet Pressler (Concert Coordinator). Mosaic Harmony’s 17th season begins with their first rehearsal held at UUCF, 2709 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton VA on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 7:30pm. The community is invited to join the choir as a performing or supporting member.
