About Jim Pollock: A Phantasy Pheast
Jim Pollock is an internationally renowned artist best known for his bold and vibrant linoleum prints associated with the band Phish. In the 1980’s as Phish toured relentlessly they embraced Pollock’s unique and organic imagery for tour posters/flyers, t-shirts, and cd covers.
Jim Pollock: A Phantasy Pheast will reveal for the first time a complete retrospective on his two-decade plus career with a chronological collection of Pollock’s life as an artist. In addition to his association with music art, Pollock has a low-key passion for activism and has artfully endorsed environmental and social issues from Hemp paper to solar power to a most ironic commentary on the country’s oil consumption.
A Phantasy Pheast is the largest and most extensive exhibition of Jim Pollock’s artwork ever on display in one location. This exhibit also features a detailed tour through the artist’s unique imagery, shows his technique and also allows the perfect chance meet the artist.
